Michael Jackson caused a commotion by dangling his child, Prince Michael II, over a balcony of the Adlon Hotel in Berlin on Nov. 19, 2002. The enthusiastic fans outside, initially screaming in excitement, turned to screams of terror. Jackson later apologized, recognizing it as a 'terrible mistake' made in an impulsive moment of excitement after fans below asked to see the child.
