The iconic "Urban Jungle" pattern, created by designer Herbert Lindinger in the 1980s, became strongly associated with BVG. BVG's decision to sell official souvenirs featuring Lindinger's design led to a copyright dispute and the suspension of souvenir sales. After a lengthy legal battle, Lindinger eventually gave BVG permission to continue using the pattern template, also known as "Worm Pattern".
